Economic Policies for Affordable, Secure and Clean Energy: Sharing Insights, Seizing Synergies, Driving Progress

Ensuring access to affordable, secure, and clean energy ranks at the top of economic policy agendas around the world. While the objective is a global priority, and international coordination is key, policy frameworks at the national level are vital to pursue this goal.

In this context, the Council on Economic Policies has organised a series of country-specific roundtables to debate the opportunities and challenges for a sustainable energy future, and to build a global community of experts to drive progress and unlock synergies across G20 nations. The first roundtables were held in Paris and London, followed by Washington, D.C.New Delhi and more recently Berlin.

The global roundtable on 26-27 January 2026 in Zurich gathered participants from these five convenings and experts from further G20 countries to distil global insights and accelerate momentum towards affordable, secure, and clean energy futures.
