Michael Thöne

Michael Thöne is the managing director of the FiFo Institute for Public Economics at the University of Cologne. He has been working as a scientific policy advisor for more than 25 years –among others for ten federal ministries, numerous state governments, the Bundestag, state parliaments, municipal associations and municipalities, international governments, EU institutions, the OECD and the WTO. Michael studied economics and political science at the University of Cologne and at Trinity College, University of Dublin.
