Leah Downey

is a political theorist with interests in the politics of economic theory, economic policymaking, and the administrative state. Her current research focuses on the democratic status of monetary policy. Leah is a PhD candidate in the Harvard Government department and a graduate fellow at the E. J. Safra Center for Ethics. She received an MSc in Economics and Philosophy from LSE and B.A.s in both Economics and Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
