Economic Policies for Affordable, Secure and Clean Energy. Insights from Germany

The Council on Economic Policies is organizing a series of country-specific roundtables to examine the opportunities and challenges for an affordable, secure, and clean energy future as well as to build a global community of experts to drive progress and unlock synergies across G20 nations. The first roundtables were held in 2024 in Paris and London, followed by Washington, D.C. and New Delhi this year.

The latest roundtable held in Berlin zoomed in on Germany’s key policy measures for the country’s energy future. The event convened experts to evaluate the measures put forward by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, and further policy priorities, as well as to explore synergies across EU, federal, state, and municipal.
