Benjamin Braun

is a political economist at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies, and currently a member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. He has written on the state-finance nexus, especially in the area of monetary policy. His future research will focus on the political economy of ‘asset manager capitalism’. Benjamin holds a PhD from the University of Warwick and Université Libre de Bruxelles, as well as a M.A. from the University of Munich.
