Oliver Braunschweig

Oliver Braunschweig is a Fellow with CEP focusing on trade governance. He is currently writing his dissertation for a PhD in Economics on topics related to economic development, money, gift, and exchange. Furthermore, he is a member of the Board of the National Coalition Building Institute Switzerland, an organization focused on reducing stereotypes and facilitating conflict resolution. Oliver was one of the co-founders and the co-president of oikos NYC, a student organization focused on sustainability in economics and management education; and he was one of the national coordinators of Rethinking Economics Switzerland, a national student organization focused on more pluralist and realistic economic education. He holds an MPhil and MA in Economics from the New School as well as a BA in Economics and Social Sciences from the University of Basel. Having lived in the US for five years, Oliver has returned to Zurich, the place where he grew up.
