François Ecalle

François Ecalle is the former deputy director in charge of public finance, including budgetary policy, taxation and social protection, in the Treasury Department of the French Ministry of Finance. He was later a member of the Cour des comptes (French Court of Auditors) and the Haut Conseil des Finances Publiques (France’s independent budget committee). In 2016, he set up «Finances Publiques et Economie» (FIPECO) which has become a reference point in France on the topic of public finance.
